This is Calle Princesa in Pampaneira. There is water running though the street. The history of Pampaneira is similar to that of other villages in La Alpujarra, Granada, a region that, due to its geographical isolation, has developed its own and differentiated characteristics, which had its peak in the Arab-Andalusian period, when the whole area was a important agricultural environment specialized in silk production.
