La Silla del Moro is not a particularly interesting place in itself, but it is worth visiting for the views you get from there. In this photo you can see the main parts of the Alhambra. Behind the towers of the Alhambra, to the right, you can see the dome of the cathedral. The modern part of Granada extends behind the Alhambra and, in the background, is the plain, an area of flat agricultural land. This photo doesn't do the views justice. To the right there is an excellent panoramic view of the Albaicín and Sacromonte.
La Silla del Moro is a monument with opening hours. Admission is free.
Even if it is closed, it is still worth visiting, as the main attraction is the views, which are still excellent even if the interior is not accessible.
This area is popular with hikers and people who walk with dogs.
